VETIG aims to foster excellence in competency-based training and assessment. To this end, it is seeking to define how such excellence can be described and measured. Some tentative descriptors are listed below:

To ensure trainer excellence, the following Knowledge, Attitudes and Skills (KAS) would be considered the minimum requirements.
