 Derek Patey President | EXPERIENCE:
Derek has significant coalface experience as a Small Business Owner/Operator across a number of industry areas including Electrical Contracting, Electrical Retailing, Hospitality and Tourism. In taking his skills to the training arena Derek has amassed 17 years VET industry experience. Initially commencing as a classroom and workplace facilitator he delivered in areas such as Retail, Customer Service, Personal Development and Career Guidance. In later years he has switched focus to the delivery of management practices workshops and leadership skills.
Having amassed substantial experience in training management, Derek has worked in both not-for-profit and for-profit arenas. His skills include writing winning tender responses, designing marketing materials and rollout strategies, and designing training resources.
